Not working with slideshare

I use this plugin to embed youtube videos in a school’s website and it works very well. I was hoping to embed some slideshare presentations too. I have located the wordpress shortcode and copied and pasted it in a post but while the slideshare window appears, the presentation doesn’t load (it keeps on saying “loading” but never does).
