    Hello there,
I just tried your plugin. It looks really promising.

I’m using OceanWP theme (this is a very popular WooCommerce and multipurpose template),
I can see the add ons inside the product page but when I’m adding the product to the cart, the product is adding without any add ons selected.

I tried to switch back to a regular WP template (Twenty Twenty) and the problem was gone.
Is it possible to fix it?

    Thank you!

We suspect another plugin or theme modification is causing the issue you described using the OceanWP theme. To verify support of the theme, we configured a clean version of the OceanWP theme downloaded from the WordPress directory and using the Product Add-ons plugin running WooCommerce 3.8 and WordPress core 5.3.

As you can see from this video here, the Product Add-ons plugin is working properly by adding the add-ons selected to the Cart and showing at Checkout.

We recommend you perform some additional plugin or theme conflict checks to try and identify the root cause of the Product Ads-ons not functioning properly. for example reverting any code modifications from the OceanWP theme or companion plugins. And attempting the simple product test with product add-ons shown in the video. Not included in the video, but we also verified support on Variable products and Product Add-ons selected for All and Custom products selection.

If you are able to reproduce the issue or identify the conflict, please go ahead and reopen the forum post and share it with us, we’d be happy to evaluate.

    Hey,
The problem was with OceanWP indeed: Your plugin doesn’t work when I turn on “Enable Ajax Add to Cart” which is a feature inside OceanWP (you can enable it inside the Customizr -> WooCommerce -> Single Product).
I need to disable it in order to get it to work.
When it’s enabled and I’m trying to add a product to cart with an add on, there are some PHP errors coming up (undefined index). See a screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/pzjt7n

Thanks for providing the additional information around the error linked to Ajax. We didn’t catch earlier the use of Ajax within the OceanWP theme.?

We have a few other reported Ajax compatibility issues. As a result, the issue has been flagged and added to our development roadmap to fix. I don’t have an exact timeline for a fix, we hopefully will have a fix ready in an upcoming release which is probably a few weeks out.

We will go ahead and leave this forum post open, once we get a fix in place, we will close.?

Providing a quick update. We evaluated the ability to add Ajax support for the OceanWP theme. Unfortunately, how Ajax is handled in the Theme, we are unable to provide a solution in the Product Add-ons. The only way to support the add-ons functionality would be a modification on the Theme directly. As a result, we will be unable to provide compatibility at this time within the Product Add-ons plugin.
