Not Working with Newspaper Theme

    Hi there –

    I love the idea of this plugin but when I tried to install on the Newspaper (TagDiv) theme, the results were odd – basically mixing information between the actual WordPress author and the ‘Guest Author’ in various places.

    There are a couple of people who were going back and forth about this in the TagDiv forums a couple months back but I don’t think it had been resolved.

    Have you run into others using the Newspaper theme and, if so, were they able to find a resolution?

    Hello,

    Generally this plugin is not going to work well with TagDiv. I’ve looked at their code and it’s not consistent in how they retrieve author information. I’ve been in touch with them about the issue and I think that they fixed the single post but I’ve had to do a lot of work to get the premium version cloud modules work with TagDiv but I may not have hit all of the functions.

    I will try to add some similar code to the free plugin.

    Did you ever find a resolution for this?

    Try the latest update. Just to make it clear that this is an issue with the TagDiv page builder which is inconsistent in the way that it retrieves the author and special code needed to be written to handle TagDiv specifically.
