Not working with new Advanced Custom Fields Version 4.3.0 Update

Hi there, yeah ACF v 4.3.0 is only 16 hours (when posting this). So I haven’t done any testing. I’ll try and get round to looking this asap. I use this plugin on all our sites so it is on my to do list.

Hi there Heather, just installed on two of my sites and all works fine for me. Try this:

1. Activate limiter plugin again
2. Go to your permalink settings and resave.
3. Try clicking “Custom Fields” again.

I’m still having the issue after re-saving my permalinks. If I revert back to an older version of ACF, it works fine though.

Let me know if you have any other ideas. I’ll keep troubleshooting too and let you know if I find another solution.

Strange, do you have debug mode turned on? Just change:

define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, false);

to

define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);

In your wp-config.php file. Let me know if there are any front/backend errors visible.

I apologize. Looking at this again with fresh eyes, this actually wasn’t an issue with your plugin. I was using a similar plugin called “Advanced Custom Fields Limiter 0.03 | By Vinicius Massuchetto”

I disabled that plugin and installed the latest version of your plugin “Advanced Custom Fields: Limiter Version 1.0.6 | By Atomic Smash – David Darke” and it works perfect.

I don’t need to use the other plugin anymore or rework anything. Your plugin snapped into my site seamlessly! What a relief!
