    Hi,
quite a strange but not uncommon problem.

    Case:
    – the user is wordpress-logged in the website and the user belongs to a group with rights to access restricted content

    – if the user copy and paste a restricted url in the browser, the content is accessibile (OK)

    – if the user clicks on the same link included in a document like a .doc, an .xls or .ppt, the content is not accessible and is redirected to the unregistered users page.

    Can you help us please?

    thankx

The only way I see this could happen is if:

    1. The user has been automatically logged out by the time he clicks on the link in the document.
Make sure that the user does not use incognito/”private” mode in the browser when logging in to your site.

    2. When the user clicks on the link, the page is opened in another browser (where the user is not logged in).
Make sure that the user uses his default browser when logging in to your site.

    3. Caching problems where the site/browser “thinks” that the user is logged out.
If you have any caching plugin enabled, deactivate it and see if the problem still occurs.

By your second statement about copy/paste working, I think pt. 2 is the problem, but let me know if none of these solutions work.
