Not working with fresh install of WP 5.2.2

  • I have a brand new WP site (version 5.2.2) running on a local environment.

    I have created a CF7 form and I have created pages and posts, but there is no option to add the CF7 Gutenberg block.

    The funny thing is that the block is working on another live site which I installed it onto months ago (around March/April) and this site has since been updated to 5.2.2.

    Things I have tried:

    • Uninstall and reinstall plugin
    • Installed via admin backend and via uploading ZIP file
    • Installed Gutenberg plugin that tests the beta features
    • Searched blocks using search bar when adding new block
    • Manually expanded all block categories – the block is definitely not available
    • Cleared cache
    • Tried adding to existing page/post
    • Tried adding to a new page/post
    • Tried installing on different WordPress 5.2.2 site on another local environment – didn’t work their either.

  • I am having the same issues with a couple different fresh installs of WordPress. The CF7 plugin can not even be found in WordPress plugins. I manually uploaded my copy but it breaks wordpress completely if activated.
