Not working with Avada

I’ve tried installing the plugin, when i attempt to select a privacy policy page and save settings, it just updates/refreshes with all of the fields blank. In other words, I can’t use this plugin as I cannot fill in any information under settings or cookies.

It works fine with WP 4.9.5 and updated Divi theme, however now I need to implement it on an older WP site.

Im having issues with the plugin using WordPress 4.5.14 and Avada Child Theme 4.0.3

Do i need to install an SSL certifcate, would that help?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
