Thanks for following up. There is indeed news on that topic.
The feature for respecting custom links got finished some weeks ago and is still in our internal testing.
We need to make sure, that everything is working 100% before rolling out this feature to our community.
But it won’t take much longer until this feature will get live. I will keep you updated here in this thread.

What is happening with this update of your plugin????
5 months ago you were indicating that “The feature for respecting custom links got finished some weeks ago” and that “it won’t take much longer until this feature will get live”.
Since then, we did not see any change, and it is still not working….
You were also supposed to keep us up to date…
    Please give us some news.

    Thanks for following up.

We have in fact been testing the feature for links within the post meta (on which principle ACF is also built) in an internal alpha version for quite some time.

Unfortunately, the feature is very complex and we decided to do a bigger round of performance optimizations in between. These are currently in progress and have already been included in the last updates. After we are done with all the performance optimizations, we will immediately revisit the issue of links within the post (and term) meta. So I ask you for a little patience – hopefully we will be able to release that requested feature set in the first half of 2022.

Hi @internallinkjuicer, just wanted to check-in to see if this feature is still being planned for the first half of 2022?

    Thanks!

Sorry for the little delay – having meta fields respected and also keeping performance needed a bit of work done before. Which had been a small journey to the more performant plugin in general.

But finally: Just wanted to inform you, that with the release of the current version 2.1.0 you should also be able to add your custom fields (for example the ones, that get generated with other plugins like ACF) to be auto-linked with Internal Link Juicer.

Find the new settings in your wp-admin under Internal Link Juicer settings, these are part of our Pro version:
