• When using mobile devices like ios and android, it seems not working to me.

Every couple of hours of being idle or have multiple session it will logged me out.

I already tried to enable the “Allow duplicate session” but still did not work.

    Please advise.

  • Hi, I have the same problem, I use Peepso and the social login plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/social-login-wordpress-woocommerce-plugin/8495883
If I login in Chrome mobile with username and password it works, but if I use login with social login plugin it doesn’t work, because if I close Chrome it automatically logs out with social.
I have my wordpress as Android app, there the session stays a bit longer, but in less than an hour it logs out with social login.
I have tried several social login plugins all with the same problem, I have been told it is something in the PHP hybridauth library that these social login plugins use that causes on mobile devices to not keep the sessions logged in.
Is there any chance of handling this so it is in the premium version of WordPress Persistent Login?
    My application on Android:

    Hi there,

Apologies you’re having issues with the plugin on mobile. I think these two issues are unrelated.

@sankana – your issue is most likely that the social login plugin you use doesn’t hook into standard WP login processes, so the persistent login doesn’t trigger. I would need to research to see if this plugin can be supported or not. As you say, Persistent login works if you use your username/password.

@intheraw – can you confirm what types of device you’re seeing this behaviour on? And is it all users, some users, or just yourself?

@lukeseager i used ios and android. they have the latest OS. With ios i tried safari and chrome with regular mode and incognito. Then in android i tried the default browser w/ regular and incognito as well. All the users i tried have the same behaviour including the administrator account.

I am thinking right now that there is a conflict with a plugin that i have right now. I have a plugin called “Temporary Login Without Password” so basically you just click the link that this plugin generate and then you will bypass the login form. Or maybe i am wrong. Please advise. Thank you.

This isn’t working for iOS and Android mobile versions as well. Any help?
