Ah, shoot. I’m really sorry to hear about that, @obrienmb. We do put a lot of work into making the plugin as solid as possible and ship maintenance releases on a regular schedule, but it sounds like we failed to meet your expectations.
You may be able to change the appearance of the calendar by altering the stylesheets and page templates that you are using. You can read more about that here:

Alternatively, you can try hiding that sidebar with some CSS. Let me know if you’d like some assistance with that!
