This plugin stopped working starting December 2023. It would still charge my card for the shipping labels but I would get an error before the label popped up to be printed. I couldn’t access the labels afterwards either. After WEEKS of trying to get help with support, they ended up saying it was an issue with my hosting service not having enough bandwidth. I’ve had the same hosting service for years with no issues. My thought is that they’ve continued to make the Jetpack plugin (which is required to make this plugin work) bigger and bigger, taking up more and more bandwidth to the point where you either have to increase your own hosting services or deal with it not working. Not worth it. Honestly would suggest new users go directly to Shopify instead of trying to deal with this nonsense.

    Hello @jsding,

Sorry to hear about the issues you faced with WooCommerce Shipping & Tax.

Please note that having the Jetpack plugin installed has been optional since October 2023. If you think that it is behind the issues you’re facing, you can try disabling it.

As for the conversation you had with us over at Woo.com, there were numerous errors similar to the following:

CRITICAL Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 81920 bytes)

So it is clear that the server is no longer capable of handling what the site is asking it to do. You may have used the same host for years, but the site is not the same. An ecommerce store is a living organism, it’s not just a static page.

Yes, the memory exhaustion can be caused by a misbehaving plugin, but your host should be able to give you more context on what is happening.

If you heard back for your host, please reply to our latest message on the ticket, as we never heard back from you.

    Best,
