    Hello,
I really like the UI & UX of your form! It is really close to TypeForm.

I have a issue with it on my site and was able to replicate it on a sandbox install.
Use the link above to log in and https://festive-seal.w5.wpsandbox.pro/contact/ to view the form in the frontend.

    1. I am using Oxygenbuilder and set the shortcode witdh to 100%. The shortcode form still uses only half of the page and is therefore displayed in a mobile view.

    2. When trying to fill out the form on Chrome, Android 10 I am unable to use the dropdown select and experince a very flashy keyboard. This makes it sadly unsable for me.

Nevertheless, your plugin is amazing once this would be fixed. ??
My feature suggestions would be calculations that can be displayed and more fields like range slider, file upload, date, time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’d be interested to know when this gets fixed. Can’t use if it doesn’t work with Android.

    Hey @o2go @deralict
First, thanks for trying Formality on your website.

    1. I am using Oxygenbuilder and set the shortcode witdh to 100%. The shortcode form still uses only half of the page and is therefore displayed in a mobile view.

Yes I can confirm this is the right behavior. The inline-embed is a light version of the standalone page, with a 760px max-width wrapper. This is intended to be used like a “widget” inside a layout row/section in your post/page templates.

    Example with your template: https://festive-seal.w5.wpsandbox.pro/contact-2/
Shortcode full reference here (sorry for the lack of documentation): https://gist.github.com/michelegiorgi/6df45a9881645f3fca8ec3458498d059

If you want the full version view of your form (with step sidebar) you have to direct link to the standalone page: https://festive-seal.w5.wpsandbox.pro/form/falling-softly/

    2. When trying to fill out the form on Chrome, Android 10 I am unable to use the dropdown select and experince a very flashy keyboard. This makes it sadly unsable for me.

Thanks for your precious feedback. I just fixed this issue with the new 1.3.1 version that you can download from wp.org repository. Don’t forget to clear your client/server cache, before any tests.

Have a nice weekend (and sorry for my english)

    Michele

That’s great Michele, thanks for the quick fix! One thing though—you really need to show a hint below each field to press ENTER to proceed to the next field. It’s not usually intuitive that this is how it works. See how TypeForm does it.

    hey @deralict
Thank you for your feedback, and sorry for the delay…
Typeform is a great reference, but I preferred to not overload the interface with too much inline-field informations.

Every field already have a label and a placeholder, and these are the main (field-specific) informations to show.
I considered ux tips and hints to be useful, but not essential, and I decided to only show them in sidebar in standalone form pages.

    Obviously, imho

    Michele
