I am trying to use your plugin. I believe I have set it up properly however, when I click on one of the filter buttons all of the portfolio items do not show up that have that specific filtered class. They also don’t show up together in one row, they show where their original location on the page is. So for example say the 2,3 and 5 items have the same class, there will be an empty space in column 1 and 4 – – they don’t show up in a seamless structure. Plus, I am getting 2 errors every time I click one of the filter buttons:

    • df-script.js?ver=2.0.2:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘classList’)
    • df-script.js?ver=2.0.2:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘moduleParts’)

Any help will be appreciated. The site is not live so how do I share it with you?

    Regards,
    Tiffany

    Hi Tiffany,

sorry for the troubles. Can you please try this version:

    https://danielvoelk.de/en/divi-filter/

This is the newest one and definitely shouldn’t have this problem. I will try and fix it and also upload a new version to WordPress.

I went in and Deactivated the one I had (Free Version called Filter for Divi) I installed the one you sent me a link to (Divi Filter Premium) however I am not going to upgrade to Premium at this time as it isn’t working still.

I am getting the same issues with an additional error:
Third-party cookie will be blocked. Learn more in the Issues tab.

    Any ideas?

The third party cookie warning is no problem.

Can you please send me the URL, so I can check what’s wrong?

I just noticed something weird while testing. If I click on the “All” button first, everything works fine. However, if I click on any of my other filter buttons first, that is when it doesn’t work correctly. No one would click on “All” first as they are already all showing when the page is loaded. Not sure why the order of clicking the buttons depends on it working properly??

On my end, it shows that both plugins are active. Could you please delete the old version? If you have already done that, please try to clear the cache on your website.

I have deleted the old version, and cleared the cache – – however, I am still getting the same issues.

Could you please make sure to update the Carousel for Divi plugin? I think they might be interfering with each other.

If this didn’t fix it, please provide me with access to your page and I will fix it for you. ??

OMG, I think it is working! Thank you so much.

Just an FYI, my Divi Carousel didn’t say there was an updated needed in my WordPress Dashboard. But I went to your site and downloaded it from there.

Does it look good on your end?

    Now it looks perfect ??

Could it be that you downloaded it from the Elegant Themes Marketplace? They don’t offer the update functionality unfortunately.

    Great!

Yes, I did get it from there. Well that is annoying – – but I will try to remember to look for updates manually.

Thanks again for all your help.
