Please check the FAQ.

Likely whoever is adding the “Menu Item Icon” field and “Item Mega Menu” checkbox are doing so in the old/not-compatible way. You’ll need to ask them to update to adding their fields via wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields instead of introducing their own menu item Walker.

Or if they must use their own Walker (though adding two relatively standard fields would not necessitate this in my opinion) they should at least add the wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields action hook for parity with WordPress core.

This is not fixable from my side. Best of luck.

That’s also covered in the FAQ. It does not belong in functions.php it belongs in the Walker that is generating the admin menu item.

I found what the file is, then I tried to change it but it doesn’t work… maybe I’m doing something wrong, I’ll leave the code if you can take a look.

this…. this isn’t needed any more. you can stop using your own admin Walker (assuming you wrote this? If not, you need to contact the people who wrote it) and instead add the fields via the action hook I mentioned.

You can see the action hook here in source right after the menu description input. So if you cannot get rid of the Walker (you should for broader compatibility) you can paste the following line in the equivalent location in your Walker.
