The plugin does not change the URL – WP 5.5.1. I need to remove the parent category from the Woocommerce product category URL if there is also a child category. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

Our QA cannot reproduce the issue you have. Could you please provide screenshot of this settings https://prnt.sc/ujgask and version of your WooCommerce?

    Hi,
I guess I’m setting it up wrong, please write me what I should set up so that my woocommerce URLs look like this?
    CATEGORY (smartphones is child category):
    https://www.site.com/shop/smartphones

PRODUCT (that number is %post_id% parameter):
    https://www.site.com/shop/54635/iphone-se/

*I can set such a product URL in wordpress when I type in Product permalinks > Custom base: /shop/%post_id%/
I would like to have a category URL without a parent category, but with a base /shop/

    Hi,

I suppose you need to set Prefix to shop and Categories to Category.

As for the product – we don’t have option to add product id into the link. You can set Products to Product to have url like https://www.site.com/shop/iphone-se/

Oh, so I had it set up correctly. In the list of product categories I clicked on “view” below the category and there is always displayed the old Slug with parent + child category. It will not be a problem? Because even through this link I get to the given subcategory.
What is then indexed into Google? Thanks to the Yoast plugin, I can set the Slug, which is indexed to Google (in the settings of a specific category). So the original address with the parent category is not indexed?

Could you please copy here a link after “view” button is clicked for the category?

Our developer is checking it now.

Here is the correct link https://bhibu.com/shop/subsubcategory and it is working.
Did you turn on 301 redirect option? (Redirect old links)

I turned on 301 redirect. Which link will appear in Google results?
