Not Working on Tablets or Mobiles

    Hi sabinevi,

    I had originally tried to setup the elevateweb version which was working perfectly on desktop but not on tbalets or mobiles. So I got in touch with the original theme author and he suggested using this pluign as there was a conflict with jQuery calls in what I was doing.

    I have installed this plugin which again is working prefectly on desktop but not on tablets or mobiles.

    Any ideas?

    Hi allanlud,

    To be honest, I never tested the plugin on mobile devices but today I did and the zoom-effect was working fine on my iPhone and iPad. What is the problem exactly? Can you give an url and device + OS that’s having problems?

    Hi sabinevi,

    In the original version it works fine on Mobiles and Tablets and also your plugin (using the defaut twentyfifteen theme).

    But it is not working (Mobiles and Tablets & in Chrome) on the theme I am currently using.

    I received a reply from the theme author yesterday who has been looking at the issue but he can’t seem to find out what the problem is.

    This was his last reply:
    Really sorry, but I can’t tell what’s causing the problem.

    Just to make sure, I disabled all of the theme JavaScript and it still doesn’t work.

    Trying a different plugin would be a easier solution now.

    So it looks like I will have to use a different plugin which is a shame because this one is exactly what I’m looking for.

    Here is the current page where the plugin is being used (link). On my PC (Windows 7 using Firefox 35.0.1 and IE 11) it works fine, but it does not work in Chrome 40.0.

    Also on iPad, LG Android Tablet, iPhone and Sont Smartphone it does not work.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Hi again,

    I’m after working on it for the last hour or so and managed to get this working – https://i-like-robots.github.io/EasyZoom/ – needs a bit of styling but it seems to work.

    Pity there is something on the theme I am using stopping your plugin from working.
