Our widget for selecting a telephone prefix of the country is implemented on the common JS library select 2. The mechanisms for displaying the drop-down list are borrowed from there and have not changed. You may have noticed that the dropdown list is an object that is placed by jsscripts in the root of the body element of the house and has a high z-index. Normally, this is enough to display the drop-down list on top of the rest of the elements. However, there are different situations when popup elements with a higher z-index are displayed. As far as we know, in practice there is no unambiguous solution for displaying elements on top of other layers, and sometimes this is unacceptable (sometimes you need to display something above the drop-down list). You need to solve this problem yourself, as there is no simple beautiful solution for it.
