Not working on PHP 7.4 or higher

    Hi. When I set PHP to 7.4 or higher, 8.0 say, I get error messages such as:

    Notice: fread(): read of 8192 bytes failed with errno=21 Is a directory in /home3/qcwrite1/public_html/home/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6574

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home3/qcwrite1/public_html/home/wp-includes/functions.php:6574) in /home3/qcwrite1/public_html/home/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 9

    If I set PHP version to 7.3, no errors. But some plugins require higher version of PHP.

    My WP version is 5.92 and I’m running multisite. I manually updated to this version.

    Could anyone please help.

    Please can you share the site info?

    Go to the Site Health page then click on the Info tab you’ll see a copy button to copy site info. Copy that and paste it here.
