Not Working On Origin Theme

I am using Origin Theme which has auto-generated excerpts which I find too long so I am looking for a plugin that would give me the option to shorten them. I installed the free version of the plugin but it does not worked. I make manual excerpts of my posts using Rich Text Excerpts plugin in my blog which is at https://xicowner.jefmart.com/ and these are the ones showing in my homepage. Does it affect the function of this plugin?
