• I found this plugin and it is exactly what I need. I am a WordPress beginner so am more comfortable working though plugins rather than fiddling with the backend code. Unfortunately, I can’t get it to work at all. I have followed your instructions step-by-step but the menu is still displaying all the available items even though I have hidden them on the page specific menu item.

The above is my new site which is still on a dev server. An example of the problem is that the home page should only display Bizserv Home and Contact Us on the secondary menu (grey area)

I am using the Virtue theme

    Thanks
    Gavin

    Hey Gavin

Its not working in your case because you are trying to hide menu items on homepage, which, is not a page in your case. The functionality of this plugin is limited to pages.

But I believe there is a workaround:
    1. Make a template for homepage
    2. create a page (from pages menu of course) then assign the template from 1 to it.
    3. Set the page you created at 2 as homepage.

I hope that helps. Adding support for archive pages and template pages is on my future update list. But I am busy with my study these days.

    My apologies

Sorry, I am struggling to understand what you are saying. The homepage is a page listed under All Pages. Perhaps I am missing what you saying. I have tried disabling menu items on a multitude of pages and non of them work.

Is there an address that I can email you some screenshots?
