Not working on Lazy Load

It gets weirder: on this one post, the “load comments” button does not appear. I didn’t go through every other post, but I can tell you that this page has 2 comments on it, and another post which also has comments on it does not exhibit this error.

UPDATE: after many page reloads, the button finally showed up. I clicked it and looked at the console, which gives me this:

Refused to execute script from ‘https://mercury.photo/hands-on-with-the-arca-swiss-p0-tripod-head-panning-system-slidefix-qs-quick-release/?cf_action=sync_comments&post_id=544’ because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

Disabling comment synching fixes the quoted error.

Is the plugin author offering any support? It looks like he released a beta a month ago, so the plugin appears to still be under active development, but the number of unanswered/unsolved threads does not inspire confidence.

Yes, this plugin is in the active state and most of those issues will be fixed once the new version is released.

Comments are loading on all those links that you shared. Are you still having this issue? Do you have any caching plugin active?

I had to switch to the “load more” button since the lazy load wasn’t working. It still isn’t; if I switch back it fails to load the comments. Tried toggling the external scripts option but that didn’t make a difference.

I’m using Cloudflare CDN, plus the Optimus and Cache Enabler plugins from KeyCDN.

Installed the beta, but no change in behavior. I’ve temporarily turned on the scrolling option so you can have a look.

Nothing showing up in the console so I’m not sure what’s behind this.

EDIT: If I scroll to where the comments should be and reload the page several times, they eventually load. Then I get some JS errors. See screenshot at https://mercury.photo/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Screenshot-2018-11-14-11.33.47.png

This does not work unless the page is already scrolled into position, and it is not consistent; most of the time the comments still don’t load.

You may have to reload the page after you click the link to the screenshot to load the image; the first time you’ll probably get a Cloudflare “no hotlinking” error.

OK, since no one seems to be looking at this I’m putting the plugin back to “load comments” button mode. If the developer cares to look at it let me know and I will revert it. Leaving the beta in place since it doesn’t seem to break otherwise.

I have. No change. Still doesn’t work on “scroll.” Works fine on “click.” I also notice that the comments link doesn’t work (there doesn’t seem to be a corresponding element).

There is no div, span, or other element with the id respond, not even after comments have loaded.
