Not working on index, is working on other pages

  • The “BEKIJK VIDEO” button opens a lightbox, but the video won’t play or show. Pasting the code on any other page works fine however (constructo theme).

    Same issue with Twenty Fifteen 1.9, Twenty Sixteen 1.4 and Twenty Seventeen 1.4 as well.

    Tried disabling all plugins except WPBakery Visual Composer, Revolution Slider (in which the code is embedded) and of course WP Video Lightbox. No luck.

    Hi, what happens if you also disable those two plugins you mentioned about that you didn’t disable? Will the video also work in the index page?

    We’ve nailed it down to something very specific. The Grid Post element of WPBakery Visual Composer causes the WP Video Lightbox to stop working:

    Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://wptest.coenradie.nl/#wp-video-lightbox/0/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource ‘https://www.youtube.com/embed/gyNbAVkZgHw?rel=0&autoplay=1’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

    We’re only getting this error and the Video Lightbox only stops working with the Grid Post added to a page. We’ve tested this with a blank page with just the Video Lightbox and the Grid Post in it.

    Grid Post loads Posts into the page, so that’s causing something. But all URL’s are HTTPS. The Posts on our wordpress are of course also loaded via HTTPS…

    Hi, I am happy to hear that you have found out what is causing the issue in your site. As far as I know our plugin might not be compatible with WPBakery Visual Composer.

    Is this something you could look into and fix if it is indeed a compatibility issue with WPBakery Visual Composer? The VC is a pretty major plugin I think. I’d be happy to provide more information for troubleshooting.

    I also tried:

    To perhaps force it to load via HTTPS, instead of through youtube video ID but it still throws the same error.
