    Hi

    I am using BuddyPress 2.5.2

All the emails sent from BuddyPress are fine. Just the initial activation link sent to user is sent by root@localhost

I don’t know whats wrong. I tried using your plugin and hoped that this would rectify the problem but it did not. I am not sure if this is the right plugin to use for my problem.

If it is then please let me know whether it can be fixed?

    Thanks alot.

    Are you using WP Multisite?

Are you using the wp_mail_from filter somewhere? This plugin only has an effect if you’re using the wp_mail_from or wp_name_from_name filters.

My guess is that something is intercepting the activation email, or you’re using something other than BuddyPress to handle user registration.

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.

It happened to be problem with the plugin i was using “WP Mail SMTP”.

I now switched to “WP Mail Bank” and it fixed that problem.
