Can you explain what is going on? What do you mean “Not working for me”? Can you give us some details, please?

As I explained in the previous message, I didn’t post my whole question because I sent an email.

It’s not working at all for 3realms.com. Here is a test page: https://www.3realms.com/test-2/

All the settings are at the default and set to show on the entire site. What am I missing?

Sorry. I’m trying to help Daniel out. I don’t work for Popup Manager. But I know he’s been busy with trying to get an update out.

I see a couple of jQuery errors on your site. Try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Popup Manager plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.

Daniel will be releasing an update soon that will address some jQuery conflicts. This may help you.

I’ve also seen this happen when someone tried to use another popup plugin or something like a MailChimp popup form. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the heads up and info, Jonathan!! I’ll take your advice and try to figure out the issue. Do you have an idea of when Daniel might release the update? Just curious because I don’t want to have to use another popup plugin, this one works best (when it is working).

    (@mrjonwilson)

To be honest, I’m not sure. He just told me that an update is coming soon. Unfortunately I don’t have anymore information. I agree with you that this plugin is the best. Stay tuned!

@mrjonwilson – Thanks for the help on support. Much appreciated. Email me if your interested in continuing.

@nuonis – The update is a few days out and it addresses many problems I’ve seen in the forums these last few weeks as well as adding some awesome new features.

Did disabling other plugins help resolve the issue? I can still log in and check it out if need be.

    Thanks for the replies, guys!

I tried disabling other plugins and learned that there is a conflict with Essential Grid plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/essential-grid-wordpress-plugin/7563340

This plugin is important for me to have, but if your update doesn’t fix the conflict, I may have to get rid of Essential Grid and find a different solution — I REALLY need Popup Maker.

Would you be able to take a quick look at Essential Grid and tell if your update will resolve the conflict? I need to figure which direction to go ASAP.

    Hi Sinoun!

I actually had this issue on one of my sites. I think the update will fix the problem.

In the meantime, if you want to dig into the files, you can try commenting it out now in the scripts.php file.

On this line https://github.com/PopupMaker/Popup-Maker/blob/master/includes/scripts.php#L31 replace ‘jquery-gsap’ with ‘TweenMax’

That should resolve it. Let us know whether that works for you!

    (@danieliser)

@nuonis – Hmm I’m not sure that is the solution. I have used ESS Grid recently with Popup Maker and didn’t see an issue. But Jonathan is correct, replacing that section of code may do it, that will be done in the next update as we are removing it entirely.

    (@nuonis)

The change didn’t work for me. I look forward to the update. Until then, I’ll have to disable Essential Grid. I really appreciate your help.

    Hi Daniel,

I just saw the update, thank you so much for that! Unfortunately, the pop-up still doesn’t come up with Essential Grid activated. I tested the site by deactivating all plugins with the exception of your plugin and Woocommerce plugin (it is needed for the page to come up). It works fine with those 2 together. Then I activate Essential Grid and the popup doesn’t work. The overlay seems to activate, but not pop up box. Would you mind taking a look? The credentials I sent to your email are still the same. Let me know if I need to send it again.

I also have one more question in regards to your paid product, “Scroll Triggered Popups”. I noticed that the example on your site, but the popup doesn’t scroll with the screen. Is there anyway to make the popup stay on the screen upon scroll? That way if people are scrolling fast, they don’t pass or overlook it.

    I really appreciate your time!

    (@danieliser)

@nuonis – Please resend them, i get so many these days that I tend to delete them as time goes by.

Scroll Triggered is simply another way of making popups open based on distance scrolled down the page. Positioning of the popup is done using the features in the core(free version you have).

Setting a popup to say position bottom right, with the fixed position option checked will do exactly what your after. Make the animation slide up from the bottom and it will make a really nice effect.

Then add scroll triggered extension to trigger that popup when the user scrolls say 50% the way down the page, or even past an element on the page.

    Hope this helps.
