    Hi coreyalderin,

This is a known issue with the validate button.

    Could you please:
    – first enter and save only plugin settings (‘Copyright format’, ‘Flickr api_key’)
    – and then click on ‘Validate’ (there is no need to save plugin settings again)

After that ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ button will be active.

    Best Regards,

Thanks for such a quick reply. I still cannot get the ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ or “activate” button to show.

    Hi coreyalderin,

Could you please only click on ‘Validate’ without saving plugin settings.

    Also:
    – go to ‘Credit Tracker’ settings
    – click on ‘Validate’
    – ensure validity state is changed to ON (green)
    – go to the Media page
    – check whether ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ button is active now

Yes, I clicked “validate” without saving. That seems to work because even if I refresh, the green “on” word stays. That seems good.

But I can’t get the ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ or “activate” button to show. I have gone to the media page and clicked on my images (it is not there) and I have gone to my post pages to include a featured image (it is not there either).

    Thanks for your continued support

    Hi coreyalderin,

Thank you for your very valuable feedback!

Unfortunately ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ is only available in the Media Library list mode.
Due to WordPress constraints we cannot offer this functionality in grid mode at the moment.

    Could you please:
    – go to Media Library page
    – change items presentation mode to list (in top-left corner there are two small buttons)
    – open one image
    – check whether ‘GET MEDIA DATA’ available and active now

    Best Regards,

Oh, thanks. I did not realize that. It is working now.

Is there any way of being able to do this within the post page, when you are adding a featured image? If I have to go to the media page, it is quite time consuming.

Thanks for the great plugin and support

    Hi coreyalderin,

We’ll try to solve this issue with one of the next releases.
