Not working for Denmark

    I got it to work with Norway, but I can’t make it work for Denmark. This is the code, right?
    [CBC show=”y” country=”da”]Test [/CBC]
    I use NordVPN and logged in to Denmark. I ran a test to acsertain that my IP is in Denmark, but the plugin still does not show “Test”. Have I done anything wrong?

  • The two-letter country code for Denmark is dk. I think that should do the trick.

    I tried dk first. I thought that was the code. Then I looked it up, but “da” is of course for the language. Anyhow, this is the code I’m using now:
    [CBC show=”y” country=”dk”]Test [/CBC]
    It still does not show. I tried clearing the cache in a browser and restarted it, just to see that it is not a browser problem. Is it a problem with NordVPN somehow? As I mentioned, I did a test to make sure I have a Danish IP.

    United States! Yet https://www.iplocation.net/ says Denmark

    The thing is that geolocation is not an exact science and the data around it changes all the time. in all liklihood the db shipped with the plugin could be updated.

    Have you ever tried using Cloudflare on your site? This plugin makes use of the data provided by Cloudflare to get accurate geo data without the need for the database

    Thanks for trying. I just need the plugin for a small thing. Our company is Norwegian based but we want to run an ad in Denmark. We wanted to give a special message to Danish people on our site. I will not install and configure Cloudflare for this. It is not enough important. Please tell me if you update the plugin database so that the plugin perhaps could work.

    We don’t plan to update the plugin in the next week or so. You could alternatively try installing the following plugin, as we also integrate with it to obtain GeoIP data.
