    Downloaded & Installed Force Login.
Went to my website to check it out.
Nothing happened. There is no indication that any plugin is keeping it private. My site is still open for everyone to see.
    There is no Registration Screen.

Installation instructions said to simply download it and “you’re done.” There no controls to this plugin in the Admin Screen.
Please tell me what is going on ???

    My site: https://www.telliconewvillagers.com
    Theme: Hueman

I want the site private unless visitors Register and login.
I have “anyone can join” checked in the Admin pannel

    Actually, the instructions state:

Upload the Force Login plugin to your site, then Activate it.

    Did you activate the plugin?

sorry – yes I activated it but nothing changed and my site is still open for all to see. And, there is no registration screen.

Any ideas on what is going on???

Also … Are there any screen shots or sample websites to see what it looks like??

If the plugin is activated, it should redirect any visitor not logged-in to the standard WordPress login screen.

After you activated the plugin, did you log out before testing if visiting the homepage will redirect you to the login screen?

Otherwise, there must be something unique to your install/setup that is causing it to not work; possibly another plugin or your theme is having a conflict with my plugin?

Try following the steps I posted here, to help identify what’s causing it to not work:

Lastly, I didn’t post any screenshots or sample websites as examples because the plugin only sends visitors to the default WordPress login screen. For example, if the plugin was working on your site–when I (a logged-out visitor) tried to view any page of your website, I should be redirected to this url instead:
