Not Working at All

    Hello,

    We were planning on using this for a clients site, however after installing and setting up the shortcode I can’t appear to get this to work at all.

    Subscription emails don’t get sent, when submitting form nothing appears in the admin.

    I feel like I must be doing something wrong however I have followed the instructions and verified that my local machine can send emails.

    We’re running WordPress 5.3 at the moment and the latest version of the plugin.

    I’ve attempted to dissect the plugin and var_dump() information regarding sending emails however can’t seem to get anything out of the plugin.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Depending on the editor you are using to write your posts you must set or unset the gutenberg checkbox. This might be the reason why you do not see the nr of messages to be send. It you want me to have a look you must grant me admin access. Send access to [email protected]

    Emails might endup in the spambox. Regardless if subscription is send or not you should see the subscriber as approval in the STC subscriber list. If that is not the case the problem is not email but something else.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I managed to get it working by uninstalling and reinstalling. After that it appears to have been working fine.

    Is there any movement on this being compatible with custom post types? It’s something that would greatly enhance the value of this plugin.

    Fine that all is Oke. As for your question I will investigate custom post types. You are the second person requesting this. I believe it might be a good idea. Please send me a personal email with your ideas and I will investigate.

    I’m happy to inform you that the first version of “Taxonomies” is now available as version 2.3.1. I believe it is what we have discussed by email. Maybe a little more.

    In this version it is possible to connect to custom taxonomies and to select items in the normal posts and also in the STC posts using the normal admin edit features.

    A fancy interface to a page or widget is the next step of development
