Not working as expected?

    I have duplicate content introduced during an import and it’s not shown when doing the search.

    What are the search criteria for a duplicates?

    I know the post_title and content are exactly the same.
    The only difference is the post_name. The duplicate version added an -2 on the post_name / slug.

    Nevermind this. The titles are not exactly the same.

    A lot of the duplicate content had special characters on the title, and it seems it is messing with the search.

    I guess the import process did something to the encoding.

    Thanks. I’ll add this (some sort of fuzzy title matching and/or duplicate post content) to the list of things to consider for the future, though there are a few things that will definitely be before that, so it won’t be added soon enough to help you this time.
