not working anymore with wp-4.5

plugin is activating without errors, but “sitemapindex.xml” and “post.xml” are not generated anymore. Also there is no possibility to configure the options of this plugin on the page at the wp-dashboard, where all the plugins are listed.

I haven’t changed anything, except updating wordpress from 4.4.2 to 4.5.

What happens when you try to access this page: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bwp_gxs_generator (please replace yourdomain.com with your real domain)?

I’m testing the plugin against 4.5 right now and I can’t seem to reproduce the error. Can you also try the following:

1. Deactivate all plugins except for BWP Sitemaps.
2. Switching back to the default theme.

Ok, so far I’ve found the “options” in the menu-bar on the left side…

If I try to view, or to regenerate either “sitemapindex.xml” or “post.xml” it leads to a 404-error – page not found…

I can access the “options-page” (https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bwp_gxs_generator) right now, but to view, or regenerate either “sitemapindex.xml” or “post.xml”, leads to a 404-error – page not found…

I haven’t changed anything, but deactivating other plugins helps for now!
I will tell you later, what plugin stands in conflict with your plugin…

I’ve activated all other plugins again and it still works to reach “sitemapindex.xml” and “post.xml”…

Then I left other plugins activated and deactivated only your plugin – this leads me to the start-page of my website, if I try to reach and open “sitemapindex.xml” or “post.xml”…

Activated your plugin again (so all plugins are activated now) – and again I can reach “sitemapindex.xml” and “post.xml” like normal…

same, I have error after upgarde wordpress to 4.5, plugin work fine after downgrade wordpress to version 4

And… – since I don’t know, what happens behind the scene with “BWP Sitemaps”, I’ve dropped your plugin and switched to an other solution – now hacker-attacks and spying against my site has stopped nearly completely…!

Exactly the same problem here as well…
In the options page is says: “It appears that no sitemap has been generated yet, click to generate your Sitemap Index.” When I click that button, it generates an url domain.com/sitemapindex.xml?generate=1&t=somenumbers but that results to a 404-error.

Using multisite with domain mapping (options 2 and 3 enabled).

What is your alternative choice? I’m very curious, because my site has a lot of hacker-attacks and spying as well. ??

Did you try to flush rewrite rules, by visiting Settings >> Permalinks and then clicking Save Changes …

maybe you want to look at this plugin: “Simple XML Sitemap Generator”, but I do not know if this works also for multisites, domain mapping, etc… – it’s a very simple solution, but doing it’s job – plain, small code, where you can be sure your data is not sold out, behind your back, to others by using this plugin…

@feuerkogel1 what do you mean by “where you can be sure your data is not sold out, behind your back, to others by using this plugin.”? There’s nothing done behind your back in my plugin.
