    OK, I had a plugin “jQuery Updater” installed. After disabling, it works again. Don’t know why, but anyway ??

    Not sure which jQuery version the ‘jQuery Updater’ plugin uses but on the next plugin version (1.6.2) I’ll test it with jQuery 2.x and 3.x versions (although WordPress uses jQuery 1.x) to make sure there are no conflicts.
