• After 2 weeks of waiting, finally dev response, but with a line that makes no sense at all .. what the heck are netsroids?! Googled, no idea! But I requested to have a PREFIX based on category to stand before the numerical count … but he tells me it already exists … I’m assuming he is refering to “generate by gategory” … which does not work, all it does is generate numerical for any specifc chose category. Lot of waste of time! Might be “Easy”, but not great!

@redrobred You asked me if the plugin can generate SKU by category. I told you that it can. In doing so, you picked on a word I wrote with a typo. Thanks for your feedback! Best of luck to you!

And on what numbers? Have you looked at the plugin settings at all? https://img.alexodlw.beget.tech/2023-02-05_163502.png Did you even go into the plugin settings?

I asked if plugin can create prefix based on category, you replied it can “generate by category” … nothing worked!

I pointed out a word you used “netsroids” as it made no sense and I waited 2 weeks for that!

Maybe you should take the time to reply properly to users whom might pay for your product if it worked and had good support, instead of this attitude

So you don’t understand how to set up a prefix to a specific category?

    (@alexodiy)

Set it up once – generate it for a category, then set it up again and generate it again for a category.

And as for the time to respond to users, I’ll tell you this… There is no time at all to support free plugins.

Dan dude, your “category generator” does not work. Try listening to the user. Doing that only generates number or letters

And even if it takes you 2 or 3 weeks, make the effort to respond properly, not with gibberish. Especially if it’s only 2 sentences you’re writing after a user has left queries for support and waitied weeks.

And anyway yes, best of luck

@redrobred don’t get me wrong, there is no time to just maintain a plugin I spend all my time on web development, and there are also several plugins to maintain for free, and I have several, on several sites, not just in the official repository… If something is not working for you, look for the problem on your side. Look at server log and fix the bugs on your side.

Paha … seriously, so your idea of “support” is the user work it out themselves? Why even bother responding to support forum then? Maybe you’re stretching yourself to thin with running so many free plugins! But no worries, I’ve already moved onto another more suitable plugin. Best of luck with your attitude.

    Cheers Dan
