    Hi.

I installed your plugin and did everyting as shown in the manual. However, it just doesn’t work – I can’t see any traffic in GA (v4) dashboard.

I’m using minimal analytics and I insterted the tracking code manually. What’s more, at first I had an “advanced settings” tab in your plugin, but for some reason now it is gone.

Do you have any ideas what can be the reason of that?

    Best,
    Kacper

    Hi!

    Well, that’s simple ??

Minimal Analytics doesn’t work with GA4. Also, all Advanced Options don’t work with MA, that’s why the tab is removed when Minimal Analytics is selected. ??

    Hope it helps!

@daanvandenbergh Thank you! I switched to gtag v4 and it seems to work fine except for one thing: In GA’s dashboard I can’t see the source of real time users. Do you have any ideas what can be the reason of that?

What do you mean with source? Location or referring URL?

Referring URL. Sometimes it works, but shows incorrect values – for example there’s 100 users in real time, but it shows only three referring urls (let’s say Facebook, direct and google”) with just one or two users assigned to each

I’m not sure how GA4 deals with referring URLs. GA4 is still heavily in beta, so this might not be related to CAOS.

Also, Minimal Analytics isn’t confirmed to work with GA4, so that might also be causing the issue.
