  • After disabling Companion Auto Update on all websites, the plugin finally paused all these annoying email notifications, thanks.

    This plugin only disables themes and plugins auto update notifications sent by WordPress? Are you using any other auto update plugin?

    Yes, I do use Companion Auto Update, but these emails are sent from WordPress itself judging by the email format:

    Howdy! Some plugins have automatically updated to their latest versions on your site at https://www.haliganda.eu. No further action is needed on your part.

    These plugins are now up to date:
- Maintenance version 3.96

    Now that WordPress 5.5 has auto update, kindly deactivate Companion Auto Update plugin and use WordPress auto update feature. Let me know whether you are still receiving email notifications after deactivating Companion Auto Update plugin and enabling our plugin.
