Not working

I was very excited to find your plugin… it seems to be exactly what I need to clean up my news feed on our membership site at nutribabenation.lovechard.com.

I downloaded/activated the plugin, went to settings > Buddypress > options and completed the settings by keeping everything as default and then hiding things like new members, profile updates, and friendships. I clicked update and refreshed the activity screen and nothing happened.

Could my Boss theme or another plugin that I have installed be overriding your plugin? What should I do to make it work?
