Hello @hthsrtdtuk
I hope you’re well today!
PHP 7.3 itself shouldn’t cause any issue here. Just to make sure, I’ve just tested it on a simple install on PHP 7.3.12 with no issues at all.
The stuck “loading” message, however, usually suggests that there’s some conflict and I believe this is the case as well. Have you already perform a full conflict test on site?
If not, that’s quite a fundamental troubleshooting step so I strongly recommend doing it. The process is to simply disable all other plugins (except Broken Link Checker) and switch theme temporarily to Twenty Twenty (assuming you’re working on the most recent WordPress version). Then clear cache (if there is any cache on site and/or server) and see if the issue is gone.
If yes, start enabling plugins back one by one, each time checking for the issue until it happens again and the last enabled one (may it be plugin or the theme) will be the most likely culprit. We’d take it from there to see how to fix such conflict.
Would you please run such test and let us know about results?
kind regards,
Adam
