I updated woocommerce 4.0.0 and SKU Generator 2.4.4, but the plugin show me a admin notices: WooCommerce Product SKU Generator is inactive. This plugin requires WooCommerce 3.0.9 or newer. Please update WooCommerce or run the WooCommerce database upgrade.

I believe I active the plugin, but it doesn’t work, and cannot see the options in Woocommerce Setting – Product page.

    Hey @tangzhehao,

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with Product SKU Generator since the WooCommerce 4.0 update!

If you’re running SKU Generator 2.4.4 alongside WooCommerce 4.0, you shouldn’t be experiencing issues. I just tried it out on a fresh test site to verify and did not receive an error.

It’s possible you may be experiencing an issue related to a conflict with another plugin on your site. I see you’ve submitted a support request via our support form on SkyVerge.com as well, so I’ll respond there to take next steps in identifying the issue on your site.

Any other questions I can help with in the meantime?

    Cheers,
    Ian

Same issue here – same error. WooCommerce 4.3.2 with Product SKY Generator 2.4.5

Please fix and send a new update out… Thanks.

    Hi @preiffer

Thank you for contacting us about our WooCommerce Product SKU Generator plugin. I’m happy to help out here!

Our plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce 4.3.2 so it shouldn’t be causing any issues. The error you’re seeing might be a plugin or theme conflict.

Could you please disable all plugins, then use one of the default Twenty themes, and see if this resolves the issue? If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

You could do the above manually or install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. It will add some additional features under Tools > Site Health.

On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.

Could you give this a try and let me know how it goes?

    Thanks!
    Christine
