Can not find and replace in the database at all with this version of the app. It completely wastes your time. Does not do what it says on the tin. The similar, but actually useful plugin you are thinking of is probably “Better Search Replace”.

    Hi @ariolander,
Thank you for your nice opinion. It would be helpful for us and the rest community, if you share your search terms which you tried and didn’t get desired result. So, we will understand that you haven’t put your quite interesting feedback randomly or trying to promote the mentioned plugin.

I recently rebranded my website and wanted a simple way to replace all instances of my old blog name with my new one. Based on your WP.org description it seemed your plugin might have been able to do what I asked.

While it did a “dry run” and printed a report of all instances of my old blog name, only the “Pro” version could commit any actual changes. Knowing this plugin was completely non-functional without first paying would have been useful before wasting my time installing it.

    Hi @ariolander,
You’ve completely misunderstood. In the plugin description – on the paragraph?of “HOW TO REPLACE IN DB?” has described in detail how to replace in the database.

I think you haven’t read it for a one time. Also, under the ‘Dry run’? option, it has mentioned properly how you can replace it in?the database.?If you check the Dry Run option, it will give you a detailed report of where and what will be replaced. So, if you see everything is ok on the report, close the report and uncheck Dry Run and hit the replace button again. It will be replaced in the database.?

You don’t need to pay anything for this kind of replacement. But what you’ve seen in Report, that required Pro version. Because that is kind of an advanced and easy option to find and replace.?

If you would read the documentation?carefully you could avoid?the issue.

So, what you’ve said is not appropriate. It would be highly appreciated if you change the feedback.
