Hi, we have next problem. We had sale, so many products were with discount. After sale ended, we changed prices, but plugin didn`t change them all in Merchant. In plugins settings I see that all products synced successfully. But in merhant and in google search we still see the sale price. What can it be? Wrote to google ads support, they said nothing.

    Hello kobotlol,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query regarding the pricing issue on your WooCommerce store and how it’s reflected in the Google Merchant Center.

When you mention “but the plugin didn’t change them all,” am I correct in understanding that some product prices were successfully updated, while others have not been reflected correctly?

Additionally, it would be helpful to know how much time has passed since you updated the prices.

Could you kindly provide us with a copy of your site’s System Status Report?
Here are the steps to get the report:
    – Navigate to WooCommerce > Status.
    – Click on Get system report
    – Copy for support.

After copying the report, you can securely paste the text into a new gist at https://gist.github.com. Once you’ve created the gist, please paste the Gist link here in your reply so that I can review it.

I am looking forward to your response so we can resolve this matter promptly. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi there @kobotlol ??

Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.

If items failed due to errors, those errors will be listed within the logs under?WooCommerce > Status > Logs,?however, there are cases when the logs are just a hint towards the cause of the issue.

As a next step, could you please the site’s logs, with a service like https://quickforget.com/, so that we can examine them?

Additionally, you could try with temporarily disabling the Site Kit by Google plugin, sync manually, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise.

I hope that helps! We await your response to better assist you.

Hi, I checked a few logs from Google listings & ads, and 29.01 was the most “trouble” day. Here it is. Others were more “clearly”

About manual sync. I was in progress, decided to try it with one product that’s showing with sale price, and i spot that it isnt in plugin. Also, i needed to add that we have 2 versions of every product – in different languages. Then i checked and see 647 products “active” in plugin (zero expiring/pending and few disapproved/not synced) and in merchant center we have 807 product. Idk how it could be, and if it could be a problem, but it’s a fact now.
If i will disable all products and add them again, it will add me more troubles.. Hope there is some resolve without this

    Hey, @kobotlol!

    Thanks for the extra information.

Just to confirm we are on the same page:

    • On your website you see 647 products active
    • On merchant center you see 807 products
    • Some of those products on the merchant center have outdated prices
    • You have products on 2 different languages

    Correct?

When checking the merchant center, do you see duplicated products? As in, the exact same product (on the same language)?

Can you please follow the steps in this guide to check for errors on the merchant center and share them with us so we can take a look?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Yes, you understand situation right. About duplicated product – no, only 1 in one language.

    Hi there @kobotlol ??

Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.

i checked and see 647 products “active” in plugin (zero expiring/pending and few disapproved/not synced) and in merchant center we have 807 product. Idk how it could be, and if it could be a problem, but it’s a fact now.

From what I gather, based on the numbers in the site’s System Status Report (SSR). For further details, kindly see here.

Let’s loop back to the original message, for a moment:

After sale ended, we changed prices, but plugin didn`t change them all in Merchant. In plugins settings I see that all products synced successfully. But in merhant and in google search we still see the sale price.

Could you please share with us:

    • the URL of such a product that its price has not been updated,
    • along with screenshots of its product data area (when editing its details in the back end),
    • how it appears on the front end,
    • and on Google results?

Once I hear back from you, I will be happy to investigate this further.

Hi. What i did to resolve problem (i hope it’s forever):
    1. Unsynced all products;
    2. Deleted in Merchant Center rest products;
    3. Synced again
Now i don’t have any sell price, but I don’t know will it be same after next sale – February 14. Will see ??
But i have a question. Even now in plugin we have 643 products synced, and in Merchant its 734. Could it be because of variation products? (in plugin its like 1 product, in merchant its 2 items). I checked, looks like it is right, but would be happy to get answear from you. Thanks

    Hi @kobotlol,

Thanks for getting back to us. I’m glad to hear that you were able to resolve the problem with the product sync. ??

To answer your question, yes, the difference in the number of products between the plugin and the merchant center could be due to the variation products. The plugin counts each product as one, regardless of how many variations it has, while the merchant center counts each variation as a separate item. This is normal and expected behavior, and it should not affect the functionality of the plugin or the merchant center.

However, if you want to have more control over how your variation products are displayed and managed in the merchant center, you might want to check out the Google Product Feed plugin. This plugin allows you to customize the feed for each variation product, such as setting different titles, descriptions, prices, images, etc. You can also exclude certain variations from the feed if you don’t want them to appear in the merchant center.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or issues, please feel free to reply to this thread or open a new one. We’re always happy to assist you. ??

Thanks. Thinks that`s all. Trully to say i dont understand why we had more products, i have version that it could be because we used another plugin before (about 2-3 months we changed to Google Listing & Ads), but we did it from zero… Magic ??
