Not Updating New Reviews

  • This has been a great plugin so far and displayed 5 reviews. But the new reviews are not showing up on safari and firefox and small devices. In chrome the newest review shows up at last and not in the beginning. With the new review there are now 6 reviews displaying on my site.

    Hello,

    Google returns only 5 reviews and doesn’t provide any parameters for getting new reviews/sorting/filter/total reviews. In other words it disallowed by Google.

    I’m tryng free version and I get the same 5 review in the last 2 days. Based on your experience, how often Google return different reviews?

    Hello,

    It depends on how many reviews you have for your place. Based on our experience I’d say, that if the place have more than 150-200 reviews, the plugin can get 10-15 reviews in first 3 months (but of course we are not guaranteed it, because can’t control Google).

    Google Reviews Business plugin pings Google for an other reviews every day, but the problem is that Google almost always return the same reviews.

    Hello,

    The Free version doesn’t have such feature (only the Business), but of course you can made it manually, just add the new widget and find your place, if the place has found you will see the reviews and if there’s have new reviews click by ‘Save Place and Reviews’ button and new reviews will sotred in the WordPress database, then you can delete the widget. Such procedure can be done once a month.
