Not Understanding

  • Hello…I could really use some help. I am new to blogging, but I did have my site up and running. I had 2 posts active and 4 more in queue. I logged in to write another post and all the sudden I have 2 websites with the same name….and my active site has a red exclamation mark and tells me to delete. The new one has all the plug-ins that I had on the other one but no content. My (suppose to be) active one will not let me see any of my posts, change anything, write posts and doesn’t have any active plug-ins. It’s like my active sites plug-ins just shifted to the new one.

    My site was up and running properly before this and had posts on it. Now both sites say that they are in the staging area. And no content is found on my website.

    Is there any way to delete the new site? I have been sitting here for hours and am about in tears! I don’t want to have to start over again.

    Hi there!

    From what I can see you have created a staging site and connected it to your WordPress.com account through Jetpack. That’s why you see two sites on your dashboard. I’m afraid this is not something we can help you out with here as it’s not related to Jetpack.
