This appears to be a conflict with some other plugin on the site, specifically one that adds links that include /goto/ (presumably for affiliates or something?)

The link from the first box on the site you shared is going to

I’m happy to dig in further here, but I’ll need to identify that affiliate plugin, and see if there is a method for excluding the Better Click To Tweet boxes from the outbound link treatment added there.
