Not Trustworthy
-
For me, the experience with this plugin has been rocky. It looked good at first, but fell apart later on. I’m an author with over 20 books published and have hundreds of reviews across each book on Amazon and Goodreads. However, you can only hook up ONE Amazon product without having to pay for the higher tiers. It makes no sense for an author to pay so much when we have many books.
So, I asked them if they could instead connect to my Author page where ALL the reviews are. They did so for me. For which I was thankful. I had to tag each review to filter it according to the proper book…and with the number of reviews I have, that took a lot of time. And I was willing, but that is when the problems began to crop up.
First, the reviews would not update as promised. I wrote several times and each time they manually updated them for me, promising me that their developers were going to fix the problem. They lied. They never intended to fix the problem. They merely waited for me to contact them. I’ve waited a year, and not once has the account updated on its own. They did this so they could refuse to give me my money back when their product did not work as advertised.
Then they kept doing something that erased my tags, and I had to go back through and rebuild them from scratch. Again, they promised this would be taken care of. It was not.
Then they promised to connect to Goodreads, but again, they never did, despite promising me they were going to do so.
Over and over, they kept promising me something that never happened. So while the individual sliders and reviews displayed on the website looked great, customer service is not trustworthy. They lied and prevaricated. Be warned. These developers are NOT to be trusted. And for the price, there are much better options out there.
