Why is it that after I remove a plugin that Wordfence has warned me to remove and I clear cache, that when I run a scan again, it still shows the same warning ?

Hi @wordpressrun, thanks for getting in touch.

Just for clarity of reporting a potential issue to our development team, I have seen this occur before where a quick scan is being run instead of a full manual scan. The quick scan does check for WPScan vulnerabilities and repository versions, but an updated repository status against your installed plugin list will not refresh until the next full scan is run manually or automatically.

If this isn’t the case for you please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    This is not the case.
When I run a scan again, it is a full scan.

Will you be replying in this conversation, when this is fixed? It is quite frustrating seeing critical issues for every scan, sissues which I fixed long time ago.

    Hi @wordpressrun,

Your latest scan results should be included with a site diagnostic report. In this case, I can absolutely check the message against our repository as your site’s plugins, our repository checks and the www.remarpro.com repository should all have updated by now so there’s clearly something else happening.

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

I’ll take a look at it ASAP for you.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
