With this last update there is no button to re-sync anymore and we got an alert from FB saying our there were errors while uploading products.
Why dont you check this before pushing new release? This plugin was always very painful to work with.
Hope to get a solution ASAP.
    Thanks

  • Hey @djwilko12 ,

Our team here at SkyVerge just recently took over development and support for this plugin. We’re hard at work to make sure the plugin works more reliably and more easily going forward!

To improve the plugin’s security, we needed to temporarily remove a few features. We’re working closely with Facebook to improve our secure connection so we can restore these features. In the meantime, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience!

For the time being, the following features are not available with our plugin:

Product update sync: Instead of synchronizing on a product update, the plugin will instead synchronize automatically every hour.

Product visibility: As of our newest release, all products will be published, so you can no longer hide products through WooCommerce.

As noted, we’re hoping to bring these features back as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding here as we take one step back in order to move forward with our plans for the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

    ?Cheers,
    Steve

Thanks for your reply and glad to know an experience plugin developer as you are is taking care of this plugin. This plugin was always full of flaws. Hope you can start solving them one by one.
Back to the point, since the last update, every automatic update had failures. We get the following (in spanish):

No se pudo recuperar la lista del servidor HTTP debido al siguiente motivo ((Código de error de curl: 18)(Código de estado HTTP: 200).
Vista previa no disponible para este problema

Please try to fix it… all our sites that are still using your plugin are having this problem. We cannot work our Woo catalog with FB anymore
    Thanks

    Thanks @djwilko12!

Since the most recent release, we now rely on Facebook reading the feed file directly, in order to the update and sync the products to your product catalog. This should happen every hour!

Judging by the error message you’ve mentioned, and to be clear, you were seeing this on the Facebook side were you? It sounds like there is a cURL error that is preventing this from working correctly.

Would it be possible to run the Site Health tool from your admin dashboard, and navigating to Tools > Site Health? If you could then send over a screenshot of any critical errors, that would be great!

If you’d prefer to speak with us privately about this data, and allow us to run some more direct testing, then could you please raise a support request via our support form?

    Cheers!

    Simon.
