Title: Issue with Woocommerce Google Listings and Ads Plugin: Products Not Syncing After MCA Over Capacity Resolution

Body: I utilize the Woocommerce Google Listings and Ads plugin for managing API interactions. Recently, I encountered an “MCA over capacity (outside CSS program)” issue within the Google Merchant Center (GMC). Upon consulting Google’s technical support, it was revealed that my account was identified as a Woocommerce sub-account. To rectify this, the Google tech team recommended converting it to a standalone account, a solution I accepted.

Following the conversion, a few days later, I noticed that newly created products in Woocommerce were not syncing with GMC. Intriguingly, the plugin appears to be in communication with GMC, as it displays statuses for other product errors and approvals. Yet, this does not extend to newly added products or recent updates made in Woocommerce—they remain unsynced.

In an attempt to diagnose the issue, I checked the connection status at “domainname/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page.” The tests indicated that Woocommerce is connected, except when I attempt to “Sync All Products with Google Merchant Center.” During this process, I encounter the error: “Response Error submitting products to Google: Google Merchant Center has not been set up correctly. Please review your configuration.”

This issue is quite as it suggests a communication breakdown between Woocommerce and GMC specifically regarding product updates and additions post-account conversion. I am seeking insights or solutions to ensure a seamless sync between the two platforms.

I will really appreciate your help with this.

    Best regards, S

P.S.: I’ve confirmed that Woocommerce has all necessary Google permissions, including viewing profile info, managing Google Ads accounts and data, and managing product listings for Google Shopping. Despite this, products from Woocommerce aren’t syncing with GMC after converting to a standalone account. All permissions seem correctly set with no restrictions, yet the issue persists, suggesting a possible overlooked setting or a recent update affecting functionality. Further insights or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

  • Hey there, @shirleys10! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Since you are getting the error “Response Error submitting products to Google: Google Merchant Center has not been set up correctly. Please review your configuration.”, let’s start troubleshooting this by reconnecting GMC to see if a fresh connection solves the issue.

If it doesn’t, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Thank you @carolm29 for your suggestion. What’s the best approach to disconnect and reconnect GMC with the least impact on already listed product? I suspect using the following approach may result in going through all the approval stages including reclaiming website, which be disruptive or introduce new issues?: navigate to WP Admin > Marketing > Google Listings & Ads > Settings.?Click Disconnect all accounts.

    Hi @shirleys10,

To disconnect the previous account properly:

Next, go to Marketing > Google Listings & Ads and set up the connection again.

Let us know how it goes!

    Thank you @shameemreza,

Disconnecting MC Google Account, etc and setting it up again resolved the syncing issue.

Before I saw your reply I used the following method to disconnect it (I suppose it works just like the approach you recommended): WP Admin > Marketing > Google Listings & Ads > Settings.?Click Disconnect all accounts.

And used the method to set it up again: ?Marketing > Google Listings & Ads?and set up the connection again.

The only problem was that some of the Google Merchant Center settings (e.g, Shipping) got reset to zero resulting in products disapproval and had to be set up again to get product approved again.

    Hi @shirleys10,

I’m glad to hear that disconnecting and reconnecting your accounts resolved the syncing issue.

The only problem was that some of the Google Merchant Center settings (e.g, Shipping) got reset to zero resulting in products disapproval and had to be set up again to get product approved again.

This is an expected behavior when you disconnect and reconnect your account. The settings will revert to their default state when the connection is severed. Therefore, it’s important to take note of your custom settings before disconnecting so you can easily reconfigure them after reconnection.

Meanwhile, I will mark this thread as resolved. Should you have further inquiries, kindly create a new topic here.

    Thanks!
