• Dear Users,

I am not clear on what this plugin is meant to do. It sound great from the reviews but why would a website be paying Vendors when the Vendor is selling its own products, Is this a market place? Are vendors paying the market place owner a fee to list products? just dont get it sorry. I probably need slowly explained to.

  • Vendors get paid a commission when a product sells. ?? Install it and try it, the price is right! ??

Thank you WCVendors. But again, not really the answer. You say install and see. Well i prefer to understand it then install. Because it takes a considerable amount of time to get to grips with something which says “Blah Blah Blah…” under your website FAQ – “What is WC Vendors?”. https://www.wcvendors.com/faq/wc-vendors-faq/

I am sure many users appreciate what the plugin can do for them. But still unclear about the flow of interaction.

Thanks for pointing out that silly paragraph on the site. It looks like we never wrote it. ?? I’ve updated that accordingly with:

WC Vendors allows other people (vendors) to sell on your (admins) website. A vendor can list products for sale. You receive the money from each sale, and set a commission price to pay the vendor for when the product sells. Identical to Amazon.com, how a buyer pays Amazon for their entire order, even though some orders are from Amazon’s vendors, and Amazon then pays the vendor a commission when the product sells.

    Cheers

    Ben

Thank you. Actually this makes sense a lot of sense.

I would describe it as follows (and please correct me if I am wrong):

    A = Website Owner, B = Vendor

    1. A allows B to set-up shop on site and sell products
    2. A can choose to become a commission receiver or payer. How? Just by making the commission payable percentage for example – 95% then this means A is just charging 5% for any product B sells. Alternatively, by just applying a 5% commission rate in the WPVendors Setting, A agrees to pay away only commission to B

    That is correct!

A configures the commission amounts for all vendors (B), per vendor, or per product, at the administrators discretion. This way all vendors can earn the same commission, each vendor can earn different commissions, or you can have different commissions for different types of products. You have the ultimate flexibility on how you want to pay your vendors, and how much you want to pay them. ??

    Dear users,
I have this business process flow.
    A:website owner/goods manufacturer
    B:artist
    C:customer

    A:provide t’shirt manufacturing / website owner. B:sell t’shirt graphic art design.
    B as vendor to A. B Sell t’shirt on A using their graphic art. C purchase t’shirt on A. then A give B 10% commission.
can this business flow model using WC Vendors plugin?

    thanks ??

Yes, that’s exactly what WC Vendors is designed for. Try it, it’s free. ??
