I’m not clear on the purpose of this. I was looking for a way to put a message on an admin screen that others would see. They can see it all right, but it’s way down at the bottom. So the plugin shares notes, but not their positioning.

The positioning of the “Add note” button is not-intuitive, and did not seem to be present on the root blog of a multi-site install.

I guess I’m just not getting what this is good for.

    Hi Hall,

The purpose of the plugin is to simply said ‘keep notes’. This can be anything from your personal groceries if you want to, to blog post ideas for example.

WP by default never shares the positioning of dashboard widgets. It is also desirable in many situations that users can order the notes in the order they want to.

The plugin doesn’t (and doesn’t advertise) a ‘sticky’ kind of feature. Something like that may be added in the future but not likely on the very short term.

Do you have any better suggestions for the ‘Add note’ button? I couldn’t find a better position for it, thats the downside of being limited to the layout that a platform offers.

Sorry to see you’re giving a low rating for it, guess it you’re best of searching for a solution that does fit your wishes.

    Cheers,
    Jeroen
