Yes, on every cached page (https-index.html) there is a string like this on the bottom <!– Cache Enabler by KeyCDN @ 13.10.2020 13:32:07 (https html) –>

But when I check the live site source code I don’t see that string, it seems that the uncached page is served, also I can’t notice any difference in speed.
Cached enabled activated or not, speed seems not to be affected at all.

    What can be wrong?

It’s possible there was an issue with creating the settings file during the update so even though pages are being cached they’re not being delivered. This occurred because a required action that creates the settings file is not fired during the upgrade hook (something I hadn’t known before). This has been fixed and will be in our next release coming in several hours.

Does this occur after deactivating and activating the plugin? (This will create the settings file.)

I can’t be sure, after noticing it I deactivated many times, even erased and installed again. But of course no cure.
In the end, I copied an older version of the plugin via FTP, and there I got an unworking site with uncoverable error. nothing was working.

I was panicked because I thought that I did something wrong by mistake and I started recovering the whole site from the server’s backup.
Thankfully, I am in good health, and I didn’t get a stroke or anything similar!

Now the site is working again with the old version from the backup.

    ok, now another problem
Version 1.4.9, works now but creates only the HTML file, where is the compressed gz?
What else am I missing again?

ok, it was because I was saving the settings and they were not saved, they did after some times of trying. It doesn’t like me at all…

Well, When there is no danger anymore, give us the green light to update.

You would need to ensure the pre-compress setting is enabled and the cache is cleared. (Currently the pre-compressed page is generated when the page is being cached.)

Version 1.4.9 until today, worked fine.

And I decided to update to 1.5.4, but the same problem return, cached pages are not served!

Are you kidding? honestly, this looks like a bad game.
