Not sure if Google Maps is Set up Properly

    Hello

    I went through the installation steps mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/

    I entered the API key I generated for Google Maps, and when I tried to set a default location, nothing happens

    I don’t see a map generated like on the tutorial. For me it’s blank as you can see in this screenshot

    Also when I tried to install the “Dummy data”, nothing happened

    How can I check that everything is properly setup?

    Hi Nadir,

    It looks like you have invalid info entered for the city lat/lon.

    Try this:
    1. in the lat and long enter 0 for each and then save.
    2. You should then see the map, just drag the marker to where you want to set the default location (no need to edit any other fields)
    3. Save.

    Spot on! It was the reason why it wasn’t working, I removed the entries and now it’s fine, just like the tutorial
